Believe in Yourself by Mansukh Patel

In this delightful little handbook Mansukh Patel outlines a wide variety of easy-to- implement practical techniques to help you raise your self-esteem, self confidence and to provide you many valuable insights into keeping your self-talk high, positive and empowered.

As a Dru Yoga teacher trainer the one specific tool which I find myself recommending to my student teachers again and again is the introspection technique. Here Dr Patel provides a clear method of eradicating unhelpful patterns and habit grooves, and replacing them with much more fruitful ones. The substitution technique is so effective that Mansukh guarantees a 100 per cent success rate if the practitioner were to use it daily for at least one month, every evening last thing before going to sleep. Whenever I set my student teachers this task I invite them to contact me after one month to let me know what happens. The results always surpass their expectations. Again and again I witness transformation in people who live and act from a place of inner strength and personal conviction.

For more information, read up on the Introspection technique in Believe in Yourself by Mansukh Patel , or in Face to Face with Life by John Jones and Mansukh Patel, both from Life Foundation Publications.
